Michael Grant is a songwriter, producer and musician successfully working with up-and-coming artists to develop and create hit songs of all genres. Michael started playing the guitar aged four and eventually learned to play the drums and keyboard. Growing up in Wembley, Michael was fortunate to steward at Wembley Stadium and Wembley Arena and saw many of the big bands set up and rehearse and play, everyone from Paul McCartney and Wings, The Stones to 10cc and Queen. At 14 he started composing songs with his close friends Laurence Elf and Steve Cohen and started his first band ‘Jellysesh’ that played to large crowds in various London Venues. Two more bands followed Two Hands and One Tummy with Rob Salter and then The Limes. Michael’s first PRS royalty cheque was for ‘Can I Be Your Bear’ which was played daily on Big Centre Television in the Midlands which Michael co-wrote with TV veteran Mike Prince including ‘The Pieman’ for TV Sports Commentator Gary Newbon. The musical influences in his life have always inspired him to write and create from his fully equipped Logic Pro Studio and is excited to welcome new collaborations.
